I actually did this a few weeks ago, but certain irritating aspects of it prevented me from uploading. Also the whole fiasco on the week of 8/7.But... now I fixed it a little. It still bothers the hell out of me, but its as complete as it's going to get, so... up it goes.
Sort of a remake of an old old old drawing (that may still be up deep in the vaults of my devart gallery, tho I doubt it) based on Gary Numan's Metal. Even though it does bother me, it was really fun to do. So I am happy.

Metal is one of my favorite songs ever, and this image is just a perfect depiction of it! I love the wires (especially the ones around his eye) and the feeling that the metal is rusting- all of Garys robots/cyborgs seem like they are aging and decaying, dont they?

This is fantastic stuff--the heaviness of the lineart combined with the weighty, painterly coloring produces the sense of believability, while your trademark stylization of human features makes for personality. Top notch work, yo.
