I think that Soundwave would be on the kinder end of the spectrum, at least for Decepticons. But still. Even I find humans irritating. And I am one.

Soundwave seems to have little to non interest in humans. I don't think he feels anything towards them. They are like insects or something like that to him; killing them is not a big deal but as long as they don't get in your way, they can even be fascinating.
I see Soundwave being not bad or even cold but simply a bit... emotionless towards those who are not close to him. Like he'd have some sort of a "robot asperger syndrom" or something like that
