Description
Here is another painting that I also recently finished. I used a referenced photo that I took of a flower looking plaque that was hanging at my wall. I'd say the hardest part of this painting was blending the colors of the flowers. Sometimes I would either add too much or too little amount of water. Plus, the background in the original photo wasn't appealing me, so I changed the color from a faint brown to a very light sky blue. But other than that, I'd say that painting this was pretty fun!sta.sh/01vx3k3swidc :My reference photo

It's a shame how wrinkled your paper is. Your work would warp and wrinkle less if you used paper specifically for watercolors, and you could probably achieve more subtle variations in color and texture. The change in the background color was a nice choice, it gives the piece a pleasant pastel color scheme.

Yeah, it kinda sucks that the paper got a bit wrinkled up because of the water. Luckily, I just started teaching myself on how to use watercolor paint and this is just practice. I know that this is not the kind of paper that is suited for this type of medium, but I would at least give it a shot. Thanks for the critique though. I really appreciate that!
