you're great at drawing link well done, i like the way the background fades in! thats really cool. i think i'm finally starting to get the hang of the photoshop basics, i can see what you'vre done with this piece. to make shadows that go over multiple layers, eg the hand skin and bandage, you make a new shadow layer and set it to multiply, and make it a medium/dark grey, is that right? going back to this pic you've done, i looked very closely and the toning is excelent! there are some paintbrush shines on the colar bone, knuckles, cheek and ears, which is good. mixed with the line shadows. i think thats given me some help with hair actually (looking at this pic). i have trouble when people explain complex PS things in writing, but i pick stuff up when i see pictures ^^. hmm sorry about this post, it's partly me trying to work stuff out, anyway - good pic ^_^ keep them comming!
