*Been creating my own artworks without references recently, and my goal here is to create an attractive character with equally attractive background. It feels really different when i draw stuff based on my own imagination!Hopefully with some help from my Anime tutorial books,where i learn to draw eyes, hair, and anatomy, i could improve quickly!*
After shcool hours,
and 
had taken a stroll around a sakura park near their school before they saw this scenic spot at the riverbank where they can see the sakura trees across the river. So they sat down on the park bench and asked a stranger 
to take photo of them^^Glad this is done, drawing the background kills me!
Time is about 11 hours
Tools are Copic markers, Touch markers, drawing pen, and B5 paper

this picture's amazing! The perspective and details are superb,and I'm amazed that you did it without references! Wow~and using copic markers; I was oggling at the bench haha the wood knots are so intricate

First of all I'd like to say that I LOVE the use of color in this piece! You have managed to use a really wide variety of colors without having them clash which is pretty impressive. Also I love the detailing on the bench and the tree <3
Your works really have a nice quality to them, the only think I would suggest would be to think more about the background/scene.
I love the scene you developed,

and you executed part of that scene perfectly. But for the background beyond river (beyond even the trees over there) it is a bit odd. While everything looks good it looks like the park is next to a huge field! Like, a HUGE field. I think that you could have put the whole scene in better context if you had some other objects in the background like a building or other park props, possibly even some buildings to show that they are in a park in the city. LOL normally I am not so specific but I have seen a lot of your stuff lately (via markermania club) and you have been improving a lot and I like where your art is going.

I really like the picture but I feel like it could have been better with some more context, like buildings in the background to show they were in a park in the city as compared to a park next to a huge field, it makes the background just feel a little sparse. Overall it's a really great picture though and it really captures a cute scene

i indeed think that the biggest problem here is the background beyond the river..i cant think of anything to fill the 'huge field'.
i tried the row of sakura trees but obviously it isn't enough -_-'.
as for the scene development, i like to use relaxation,scenery,and lifestyle related stuffs as part of my drawing, because in my opinion they sort of defines japanese anime.. if u know what im saying^^

still lives are not so difficult to draw i think
anyway im still having difficulty for human anatomy, so im now drawing my characters in very basic poses^^
