I love how it's just the single ship up there with the birds. It sort of makes me think that the ship is trying to be like one of the birds

It seems so lonely and... 'human', but that's not the word... 'personal', yes. It's a very 'personal' image, despite the sci-fi setting and distant viewpoint. So many people go for a more detached perspective, but yours is emotionally engaging despite that.
