Description
Percy the small engine and all of the other engines were missing Nathan while he was away, unknowing that Nathan had a new family to take care of. When Nathan arrived at Ffarquar sheds, that morning, a big surprise awaited Percy, Thomas, Toby, Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, and Mavis.

"Mourning, Percy!" Called Nate from across Ffarquar yards, "driver?" Asked Percy, in confusion, still groggy from waking up so early, "is that you?!", "of course, it is Percy, who else would it be?" Smiled the pastel blue cat, with a blue kitten in his arms. Percy smiled, "It's been a while, how have you been?", " I've been good this past five months, and you, bud?", "doing well." Replied Percy, noticing the kitten right away, "aww! And who is this little cutie?" The saddle tank asked, "she would be my daughter, Lillie.", " your DAUGHTER!?" Exclaimed Percy, "you started a family, without telling us?! Well, congratulations, Nathan! Is Lillie your first child?" And Nathan explained that he was a father of three. "Adam and Colin are doing well, and so is Shady.", " Well," smiled Percy, "that is very good to hear." Just then, Thomas woke up, "good mourning Percy.", " Hello, Nathan! Doing well, I see? That's good." And Nathan, introduced the blue E2 tank engine, to his daughter. "What a pleasant surprise!" Smiled Thomas, "it's going to be even better when my driver has her puppies." Then out stepped a brown Labrador Retriever, her pregnant tummy, bulging out of her uniform, "Nate?!" She exclaimed excitedly, her tail wagging wildly, "Molly?!" Exclaimed Nathan, "It's so wonderful to see you again! And with your own litter too?! Oh this day gets better and better!" And soon Nate and Molly we're chatting and getting along, like matches to firewood, talking about their families, their lives so far, and what happened before Nathan had to take care of his family, while Lillie gave Percy's face a gentle hug. "Hehe, cuddle bug, Lillie!" Chuckled Thomas. Lillie turned her head, to face Thomas. "Seems like you've gotten her attention, Thom!", " yeah, I can see that!" Called Thomas. "So, Molly" continued Nate, "are you actually, working for the entire time that your puppies are developing?", " no, no!" Replied Molly, "I just didn't want to leave the railway.", " oh! Alright!" Sighed Nathan, grabbing Lillie off of Percy's footplate.

Lillie helped watch her father get everything ready, and she even got to blow percy's whistle! And after a long days work, Lillie was tuckered out, so Nate, saying 'goodbye' to his railway friends, brought Lillie back home, and put her in her crib. "Goodnight, my little engineer." He smiled, and went to bed.
