Description
This drawing has been completed with the help of Tony Orzech ( [link] ) wich I thank for the great amount of time he invested in helping me with the shading and texturing and Kylee Nell ( [link] ) wich I thank for her asistance with the anatomy... Thanks guys... I never could have done without you...As for the story... Jon ( the elf ) just finished some really tough survival exercices as he is in training for admition in the elven guild of the riders... and Draghi ( the dragon ) just returned from a sucesfull but exhausting hunt...
So they bolth seattle down for a little rest... that's all there is to it...
Heck... I would like a pillow like that...

this is as far as I was able to track it down actually. The artwork is origonally from a game it seems. It also seems that there has been little to no activity since 05 on the site.

I do not doubt the posibility that a human can be noble and pure of hart... where would we be if there were no such people...
I simply find dragons and humans incompatible on a "lifespan" level...
Humans are so short lived compared to the very long lifespans of dragons... humans would get old and die... and it wouldn't even be a significant perioud of time in a dragon's life...
Whilst elves have a lifespan just as long asa dragon's... so they go just fine...

amazing drawing. the detail is simply spectacular! theres only three things i could point to: 1 the shadow of the horn (i believe) should be more curved (downward) due to the round trunk and the direction the light is coming from. but this i'm not entirely sure of. 2 the (his right) knee seems bent the wrong way. like his knee goes left while his foot is going right. not sure how to fix it. and 3 the feet...they kind seem wrong. just how large they are. but this could just be your style, and really i don't see why they couldn't be that big and shaped like that. also, i want to say that tail is amazing. it looks like a real tail should, not just a super bendy tube like appendage as some people draw them. and once again, your shading is amazing. lol. awesome work. and you know what? lol, i certainly will watch you. ^^ (don't know what i was thinking last night. :S )

yea... welll you are probably right about the horn shadow...
about the knees... well I can't exactly pinpoint wich of the knees yo uare refearing to... form the foot resting on the ground or the one resting against the tree...
As for the feet... beying large... well, mst large predatory cats as well as large k9s have large paws compared to their body... so why wouldn't a dragon??? afterall a dragon that big must have some nice paws to support all hs body with...

true, true. wolves have really large paws...as do tigers. 
(the knee with the foot resting on the tree) i think it just may be the way the sun beam goes over it thought that's giving it that appearance.

I love this. It's truly beautiful. The idea is, well, beautiful too. I find the perspective for the trees in the background is a little confusing, it doesn't line up properly with the foreground. Then again, I get easily confused when I'm faced with backgrounds. But! You're waaaaaaay better than I. So I should not complain at you.

thanks... and the reason for the background trees' aparent misaligning is because those trees are sitting on a slope... that is decending away from the dragon towards the background... wich is why the aparent ockward perspective...
