“What are you gonna do about that!?” A woman screamed venomously at a man, who sat bruised on the ground.

“Please stop…” He pleaded, as she struck him once more in the cheek, amplifying the bruise that was already there.

“Hey, get away from him. Now.” Honey Bee called firmly, flexing her bicep.

The woman sprinted up to the heroine, flailing her fist, as Kayla grabbed it and pinned the bully’s body to the ground, tying a metal bar around her arms and thighs. After putting a piece of tape on the criminal’s mouth, Honey Bee tended to the victim.

“Are you okay?” She smiled sweetly, brushing off his dirty face.

“Yes. Thanks for being my guardian angel.” He replied, watching her blue eyes twinkle in the night sky.

“You’re welcome.” She smiled, touching his shoulder.

“People are wrong about you. You’re doing a lot of good things for the city. Please don’t get discouraged, because New York needs people like you.”

“I.. We should get you to the hospital for an examination of your injuries. Don’t want anything to get infected.” She smiled, lifting him into her strong arms.

“What about her?” The man replied, referring to the woman tied up on the pavement.

“The police will be around shortly to pick her up, no worries.” She smiled.

“How are they going to get the bars off?”

“Hmm...I didn’t think about that. I’m sure they’ll figure it out.” Kayla laughed.

The two of them took off in the cool air, as police sirens rang in the distance.
