Description
Second attempt at a Transformers move-style Arcee, or at least a female Transformer. Here I focused on just the face and head. I made the face rounded and almost-teardrop shape to emphasize feminine-style lines. I also used the T-X from Terminator 3 as inspiration for the general outline.

As my version of Arcee is the smallest and youngest Autobot in Optimus Prime's troop (though still far older than humanity's recorded history), I wanted to emphasize a youthful appearance. Her eyes are large, her face is smooth, etc.

As the production designers on "Transformers" said in various interviews that they wanted the robots to have expressive eyes, like camera lenses, I followed the same philosophy. The sections around her eyes are movable and function like lids or shutters on a camera, closing and opening at various angles to portray different moods. Her "brow" can also shift up and down to express emotion. I added a few circuits and features around the eyes to try and make the face even more feminine.

After seeing how Optimus's mouth moved in the MTV Movie Awards spoof at the start of the show, I made Arcee's mouth very similar to it. It reminds me a little of the beaks of squids.

Her neck I also tried to keep feminine, no robot equivalent of an Adam's apple on it. The bottom of the neck has a cleft in which a few circuits are placed. I tried to make the neck more graceful than other Transformer necks, but it still looks too masculine to me.

The face-mask is as close to that of a motorcycle helmet's as possible, and the aerodynamic shape of her head is to suggest speed, very much like the movie Starscream.

Anyway, leave constructive comments please. I am still looking for someone to draw and/or color a more elaborate and refined version of my Arcee, but only when the basic features are hammered out, like the body. I've decided to drop the wheel-feet, which should make everyone happy, heh.
