IT'S THAT THING I CREATED!!!

What started out as a very rough sketch soon became a labor of love. Many hours were dedicated to this piece and I will try to figure out how I want him colored, but rest assured, his color scheme will closely resemble his form in Beast Wars.

....For whatever reason, I kept envisioning Rhinox with an additional external HUD (Heads Up Display) device that looks unmistakably like a pair of glasses. I realized that him being a scientist and a medic the look is a bit cliche but the muse wouldn't leave me alone and I kept drawing them back in. While they appear like an unassuming pair of spectacles, the "lenses" do actually have various purposes, similar in how Rattrap uses his HUD head visor at various points when finaggling things that require a bit more cybernetic finesse than a simple hard line interface like his tail - The visor/glasses theory enables them (Rattrap and Rhinox) to access several view points that other bots are incapable of, which goes to show that every bot/mech is unique in their particular caste/mode of expertise.

The design is also heavily inspired by live action movie verse Ratchet.... so there ya go, in my head-canon, Rhinox lives to join his fellow maximals on Cybertron to head off against the despicable Megatron and his pred/cons

I'll be working on a full anatomy piece to show off how I want him to look helm-to-ped (that's head-to-toe in bot slang)

and yes, in my head-canon, Beast Machines end up on earth with the Autobots, Nest, Sam Witwicky and Co. to fight off the Decepticons, yadda yadda.. because I CAN.
