2ND EDIT OF 9/14/14: Ah, to hell with it. I fixed Drakken, Vegeta, and Buu, too. NOW I'm happy!!!

EDIT: 9/14/14: Had to fix Goku's face. It annoyed me... still does, actually, but if I keep futzing with it I'll just end up getting more frustrated. Sorry if it looks crappy, but he looks better than he did before.

EDIT: 7/22/12 :: Optimus' face annoyed me and since I've improved my ability to draw him, an update was desperately needed. I made some adjustments to his mouth and eyes and now I'm satisfied.

HOLY CRAP, The effort I'm putting into this is taking waaay longer than anticipated and I've only actually completed Questions 1 & 3 vegechan.deviantart.com/art/Ba… - "Bat Country", on the Character Obsession Meme! Haha, probably because I only ever have time to put this much work into stuff on my days off, which is very little... Been pushin' to draw more on my work nights when I DO have time but it's hard to accomplish when I spend 12+ hours out of the house and I only have a few hours of free time a night before I need to hit the hay for work the next day.. Ugh... Life sucks sometimes.

Anyway, the reason I'm taking so long to complete the meme is because I'm using it as a test for how much effort I can put into representing my favorite characters, that includes coloring them because it's helping me advance myself and learn shortcuts, whatnot. Plus, I just miss this kind of grind. It's strangely exhilarating even if I do end up stiff and achy with blood shot eyes from sitting still and staring unblinkingly at the monitor for so long...

I'm very VERY proud of how this turned out... and if any of you assume that it's easy drawing a transformer than you are sadly mistaken. Movie-verse Optimus and Bumbleebee were a pain in the ass but GOD, they turned out JUST like I'd imagined. So, in the end, the effort was more than worth it, especially if you guys enjoy it! That just makes me even happier!

As you can see, I selected my 7 characters in addition to your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, a surprise #8 because I DO have to admit that he was my first love and I think poor Spidey has felt rather neglected in recent years...

Freakazoid is a Dork as usual and Drakken is glaring , just like *sigh* You're an idiot... Haha.When I was a kid and got my first pair of glasses in 2nd grade, my sister used to make that face at me to piss me off because she made fun of me being a "four eyes"... However, I carry no ill will toward the gesture because I still like to make this face because it's silly and I like to make people laugh (and it always works)!

Goku and Vegeta! You know I had to pay homage to them! ^_-

Buu is just evil and that grin was just too wickedly sexy to pass up.

You're going to enjoy the rest of the meme when I get around to working on more of it... But I wanted to share the hours I've spent on this already because I'm being productive! I miss showing you guys my stuff and.. ya know, If I don't post something now, it'll probably be a few more weeks before I get this entire thing done.

After all, I am a procrastinator and herping at the speed of derp is the name of my game.
