Part 2:

That car in the background is my royal blue 2008 Honda Fit Sport made into my OC Transformer, Velocity. I wish my license plate actually said "VMCHN" because I refer to 'him' as 'the V Machine'. sadly, I have a very boring and ordinary license plate because vanity plates cost more and just adds that much more onto the cost of a yearly registration fee. BAH! Maybe some day ..a woman can dream...

..I mentioned in the past that I've had a huge desire to work on a Transformers Live Action Movie Verse / Beast Wars/Machines crossover and lately, my muse has refused to leave me alone so I'm writing down ideas and filling my sketchbook with various doodles, only this one became much more than a silly old doodle and I couldn't resist drawing two of my top favorite Beast Machines (I know, I know, I'll get around to drawing more of my version of Beast Machine Dinobot).

The kid in Rattrap's arms is my fan character Vance McCartney (yes, he also plays a completely unrelated part in my "Integration" story, I just wanted to reuse him for this particular story too, just with a completely different backstory), who has recently discovered is not exactly human anymore. In a car accident, Vance lost his mother and his legs and suffered a series of serious internal injuries and despite all attempts to save him, is unresponsive and remains comatose and is kept as functional as possible with the use of life preserving machinery. His father, unwilling to accept the both the loss of his wife and his son to a coma, which he may never wake from, happens to be a member of sector seven. He contacts his close friend, Tom Banacheck, who is the head of Sector Seven's Advanced Research Division and like an uncle to Vance. He cares very much for Vance and shares Mr. McCartney's desperation to save his comatose son from life as a vegetable. Tom assembles a small team of scientists and they perform the unthinkable. After using the allspark to experiment on different machines (phones, televisions, etc), they voted to attempt to transform a human for the first time in hopes of saving a life. The Six Million Dollar Man (the bionic man) inspired me to do this. "We can rebuild him. We. HAVE. The TECH-NOLOGYYYYYYYYY!!!!" The only big difference that can't be easily explained is that the transformation turned his brown hair and eyes electric blue. He later realizes that embarrassingly, ALL his body hair has turned blue, heh... Try explaining THAT to your Andrologist (men's health Doctor), kiddo!

I have always been fascinated by the techno-organic nature of the Beast Wars/Machines. A set of prosthetic legs were attached to Vance's stumps and after using the allspark to zap him, all the metal throughout his body, including the prosthetic legs, assimilated and transformed into living metal (techno - organic). Vance awakens. However, the experiment is kept classified and Vance never discovers what he has become and is led to believe that he is something of a real life 'bionic man'.

It's not until later that the Transformers show up (TF Movie 2007) and Vance is involved in an altercation with Decepticons (a bit after the end of the first TF live movie), that he is seriously injured and in being maliciously toyed with, has his legs snapped off. Vance actually feels the pain of them being ripped off as if they were his own and from his wounds and mangled legs, bleeds a mixture of human blood and neon blue energon. The Autobots/Maximals realize that this kid needs their own medics to deal with this... Rhinox and Ratchet. Sam and Bumblebee happened to be hanging out with Rattrap and Cheetor when the incident happened and were the first on the scene shortly followed by Vance's newly appointed guardian, Velocity (Vance was not yet aware of the fact that the car his father 'gave' him is an alien assigned by Prime to protect him). It just so happened that when the Decepticons attacked Vance, he was with his father in his father's SUV and naturally, Slag hit the fan. Velocity feels guilty that the one time he wasn't there to keep an eye on Vance, the Decepticons showed up... Shit happens, folks. Being fast on his wheels, Velocity is appointed by Cheetor to take Vance to base along with Rattrap and Sam. Cheetor and Bumblebee stay behind to kick some pit-spawned Decepti-afts.

When Velocity says "breem", that is the Cybertronian equivalent of about 8.3 Earth minutes.

Needless to say, once Vance is taken care of, there's going to be A LOT of explainin' to do.

The story is really long and detailed, so I'd go on forever trying to tell the whole thing... so I apologize for any confusion. I just couldn't resist sharing this labor of love!

Also, I'm very sorry I couldn't fit Bumblebee in this, but I ran out of page space and he's huge compared to the humans and beast machines.. So, if I HAD drawn him, all you'd really see in this is his foot and maybe part of a leg...

There is also Bot!Sam x Bee pairing in this story too, etc because I roll like that. I haven't decided who I want Vance to hook up with though....
