This is the last Friday the 13th strip of the year, and since I started the trend of injuring Winslow in the first two (by having his face scraped off in the first one ak-is-harmless.deviantart.com/… , and by having his face burst into flames in the second ak-is-harmless.deviantart.com/… ), I knew I’d have to do it again the third time around. This one doesn’t have Dr. Spiderqueen in it, but she’ll come in later. So if you’re itching to see her, just be patient. Good times ahead.
The idea for this strip came from fellow deviantART member Omny87 , who suggested Winslow try building a new face with Mr. Potato Head parts. That got me thinking about the actual mechanics behind that: Winslow would have to drill holes into his face in order to shove the pegs in. And Winslow drilling holes into his face is an awesome idea.
On another note, my last comic, "The Big C," ak-is-harmless.deviantart.com/… has quickly become one of my more popular comics this year. You guys must really love Cancer jokes.

Wouldn't it have been easier to replace his whole head with the Mr. Potatohead? Or use his spine as the peg to attach his head to a Mr. Potatohead body? Then he'd have four eyes in a much cooler way than with glasses. Head/body replacement hasn't had issues with rejection, and he does it often enough.
