I kind of feel like I’m trolling my own fans with this one…
The vampire, for those of you who haven’t been following my work for the last 10 years, is a character from my comic Vampiric Minority. I stopped drawing Vampiric Minority after a 72-strip run, because Twilight was suddenly super popular and kind of sucked all the fun out of vampires. People have asked me if I’ll ever do a Ben & Winslow/Vampiric Minority crossover, and while Chauncy has made partial cameos now and then, this is the first time he’s ever really appeared in a Ben & Winslow comic.
So, yeah. Something short and sweet for you all today, ending what I’ve been calling the “Clipboard Arc” in my head. There’s more to this story to tell, though. As I said a few weeks ago, I came up with a bunch of ideas revolving around Winslow trying to improve the strip, which then grew out of control. So in a month we’ll move on to something hinted at in the Clipboard Arc, and then a month after that, more attempts to improve the strip.

I loved your vampire minority strips and thought they were great. One of my favorites is still the one with Edward Cullen at the doctors and is told the sparkling is cancer. Me and my wife still laugh over it when she watches the Vampire Diaries or actually anytime we watch something with vamps in it. Good times. lol.
