My daughter saw this one and asked, “What happened to his face?!” To which I replied, “I don’t know!”
With this comic’s publication, I am officially on Comic Hiatus while I put together some scripts I’m happy with. I need a break. Putting together a comic week after week is harder work than it seems, and I’d rather publish things I’m happy with rather than slap together stuff just to meet deadlines. So expect more Ben & Winslow in late January!
Maybe Winslow will get his face back by then.

Huh. Your strategy (sort of) is like mine: I draw my comics a few months in advance. When planning uploads, I lay out all the strips I drew and have the luxury of choosing which ones I wanna upload (unlike most cartoonists, who are on very tight deadlines and have no choice but to run all the crap they drew that week). It's more effective than it sounds.

I try to go for that, but it doesn't quite work since it's hard for me to thinking holidays when I'm working; for example, I rarely try to do Christmas-themed strips since I draw stuff for December in around August.
