I was in the '60% of the sun obscured' zone, which actually translated into 'nothing is different at all' zone. Β It was a regular sunny day. Β And yeah, I did briefly glance at the sun, but it's too bright. Β You couldn't see squat. Β We did make a pinhole viewer and yeah, you could totally see the crescent shape using that, but ... yay?Β
Apparently a full eclipse passes over us in another seven years, so that'll be cool.

I was in an 80% zone and I'm pretty sure it gave me superpowers.

Maybe a insanely hot female porn star in a tiny cellphone screen for some hours in a dark room?

That would probably have the same effect.

I remember we had a nearly-full eclipse when I was little, it was pretty cool
Silly Winslow...I'm sure he'll find some poor animal or something to replace his eyes with though, knowing him!

This always happens whenever I'm staring at the moon and then the sun sneaks up behind it.

I was in one of the 80% eclipse cover areas. I saw some of the eclipse but then we had a freak storm breakout.Β Β
But it was still cool!

Yeah, it started raining here, too, but not before we saw a good chunk of the eclipse!

We had a bunch of folks at work with glasses, and we were passing them around so everyone could get a peek.

That's good to hear. Didn't have glasses but my dad made some makeshift viewing stuff and everything worked like a charm.Β

Yeah, dad said we got a partial eclipse, but I really didn't see much of a difference. I mean, I was in an office building all day, but it never got pitch black outside.

It doesn't get dark in a partial eclipse. Looks more like sunset.
