Description
Since in the new film Godzilla is some kind of natural entity that existed in a time in which the planet was radioactive as hell, I'm assuming the 'species' evolved from other creatures like everything else on this planet. So yeah this is what this is. Crappy thrown together sketch of possible other creatures that are related to this new Godzilla from said weird time period.
I like the idea of the bottom creature being a pact animal, about 70ft in length. Top fatty being some kind of massive ninety foot long hulking salamander beast and the middle creature some mid paced, massive sauropod like monstrosity.
Either way, fun to draw.

You do know that reptiles weren't alive during the precambrian age. I can buy Godzilla being a naturally radioactive creature, but that's just bullshit science.

Pretty certain everyone knows that there was barely anything alive during the precambrian era.
But hollywood has used it as a basis for a bajillion monster movies in the past, so that was where my theory initially come from. Its formula.
Godzilla 3D, the cancelled eighties Godzilla film was going to have Godzilla be precambrian.
The original Gamera was precambrian.
The Graboids from Tremors are precambrian.
Sure it makes no sense, but its not like Godzilla could exist anyway.

Eh, I guess that's Hollywood's favorite dumping ground for prehistoric creatures that are beyond dinosaurs.
Sorry for being a bit opinionated about this, but I just found it wonky. I can live with the idea that Godzilla's not a true dinosaur in this movie, however.

I think it'd be even worse if they tried to say Godzilla was from a time before the big impact-- in which the surface of the planet was incredibly radioactive-- its just we supposedly collided with another planet before Earth became livable.

It would be even bad if they go with the big Snowball period.

i do like that they're making godzilla a Precambrian creature this time around. it should give the fans a nice analysis on his species of origin. these are some nice concepts as well
