Top one is actually a trace, and from watching that damn clip over and over and slowing it down to frame by frame, I can say its about as accurate as I'm gonna get it.To be honest I see a lot of fans putting a lot of wishful thinking into the design, but the Godzilla I'm seeing is a lot smoother with pretty boring spikes in comparison to some of the bad ass concepts other fans are showing.

Hmm...I'm partial to the upper mug's smoothly-curved snout tip, although that auditory pit seems a bit oversized and/or close to the eye socket. The bottom sketch's solid lower jaw works, though those fangs could use a slight embellishing in my book. Either one has some fine Angry Brows(TM) and a compact but generally rugged appearance-passable Godzilla-skull material, says I.

I'm kinda hoping they go with the really expressive mammalian look with the final design. Though from re-watching that video I get the impression that his longest fang points a bit forward, kind of like a dogs.

Hmm, last G-design I recall that incorporated that sort of warped overbite was the '56 version from G Raids Again (especially the snaggletoothed closeup puppet). Aside from crocodilian/Zilla overlap, I'm actually kinda keen on a Godzilla with gnarlier dentition than the Heisei/Showa average.

More often than not I find myself growing so annoyed with certain fanbases that even when someone agrees with me or rambles out something as fun to read as yours, my mind is so construed toward a point of utter dumbfoundedness, the most I can do is just appreciate and sheepishly comment.

Sometimes all those fandom exchanges, constructive as they might be (or at least be intended), do suck energy from one's mind like some kinda acid-pissing lamprey sewed to the cortex. I can certainly appreciate the need for something else now & again.

Hence why I like transformers animated so much more than prime, its a new take, a different direction, not a unification. Something I wanted to see. A conversation on that subject pretty much burned me out for nerd conversation though.
