OKAY SO BEFORE I START THE STORY, I would like to thank for helping me do the background and the awesome brownish effect thing and the lighting with azula's fire because i duno i was totally failing at the background and i asked her to help and she DID help me even though she didn't have to hina you are so so great i cannot even convey your greatness into words THANK YOU SO MUCH <3

So yes, this was kinda like a collab between me and hina I drew the picture (with the bad perspective) and coloured in the girls and the basilisk (badly) while she coloured the background (awesomely) and did the lighting effect (even more awesomely) THANK YOU HINA,

"Are...are you sure we should go in here, Azula?" Ty Lee asked nervously as she glanced up at the old Sun God temple. Mai, who was standing beside her, remained silent though her eyebrows were slightly furrowed in disapproval as well.

"Of course," Azula responded off-handedly. "This temple has been abandoned for hundreds of years now, Ty Lee. What could go wrong?"

14xxth Year, Reign of Fire Lord Ozai.
31st day since I first left the capital.

...Now that Ty Lee has fallen asleep, and finally stopped glaring at me, I can finally write about our... earlier adventure. Mai is still awake though. I can see her shifting around trying to find a comfortable spot. No doubt the pain in her leg is keeping her up, but it is too late to go into town for medical supplies. Ty Lee patched up her leg and my arm as best as she could with what we had, but unfortunately we had nothing to help dull the pain. I must have used it all during that storm incident. I knew I should have restocked in the previous town.

No matter. There's another town about one mile away from here. I will set off tomorrow as soon as it gets light to buy the herbs... and some food and some new weapons. We lost most of our supplies back at the temple, but luckily I carry our gold in a separate pouch so we can just replace the things we dropped.

I am quite saddened that I lost my sword back there, however. It's probably still embedded in that Basilisk scorpion's side... Maybe, when I make my return visit to the Fire Nation in a few years I will go back there to retrieve it... hopefully I'll still be alive by then.

Well, putting that aside, I suppose that you, the reader, is curious as to what I am talking about. This is what I was referring to about our earlier adventure.

...However, I will not go into great detail since it is quite obvious that there are secrets in that temple that someone is taking great pains to keep AS secrets...

To summarize everything up in as few sentences as possible... never go into old, abandoned temples unless you are quite sure what you are getting into. And are quite sure that those temples are in fact, abandoned, and not occupied by a who knows how many centuries old basilisk scorpion that does not take lightly to strangers trespassing on its territory...

My arm is quite throbbing right now, so I believe this is my cue to stop my writing. Ty Lee actually has not fallen asleep yet as well; I can hear her and Mai talking to each other.

Maybe a bit later, we will all look back at this and laugh. For now, however, I am just glad that we are still alive and in one piece and that we merely lost our supplies and nothing else...

After all, lives are things that aren't replaceable.
