I know every hard-core Evanescence fan will attempt to draw this cover sooner or later, so why shouldn't I? The Fallen cover's simplistic design is perfect for a first time endeavor into pastels!This was a High School Art 3 assignment. Pastels were not my favorite medium at the time; they tore the paper and smudged terribly. Black dust from the hair smeared into the white and my attempts at removing it made her face grey in some areas!
Minor adjustments in Photoshop CS5; including cropping out the horrid background attempt. -_-;

I'm a huge hardcore fan and I've never tried to draw it, haha. I just tend to take ID photos of myself that accidentally look like it.

I know right? It's because Amy has amazing eyes whether she's wearing her contacts or not, she has rely pretty eyes, haha.
Also, I think the lack of shading puts some people off. Pu my friend off really bad till she actually tried it.
