This is in no way important to my life, but still. What is this? It is showing up everywhere and I am a curious person, so wtf.Where is that pls account with fry squinting when I need it?

I caused someone to have this happen to their work recently. I reported them for basically tracing my work and not crediting me and asked her to turn off prints and she refused and called me a liar. >_> DRAMA ALERT. Anyways, it means that a mod has had to step in and deal with some sort of citing or copyright issue on a piece and are waiting for the artist to correct it before their deviation can be viewed.

Yep, that's what DA replaces an image with when someone reports it for art theft. I'm happy to see they're finally doing something about it instead of sitting around on their hands like they have been for the past couple of years.

A picture that can not shown in puplic. You can put a pic in storage when other people should do not look at it. So you do not need to delete it.

I have no idea, to be honest. I hope so. My drawings are safe because they don't get a lot of attention (er, my one drawing...I wish I had a scanner. I can draw a lot better than what the mouse lets me do XD), but I wonder if this goes for stories, too?

the first time I saw this I was checking to see if a certain thief had taken down the stolen works in his gallery.
This certain art thief came off as just a tad more stupid than the others.

I guess -I GUESS- that someone has stolen or used a pic of someone else, probably from another site.
Someone has reported the thing and if the real owner doesn't give the permission to this person to use this work in a given period of time, this pic will be removed from DA.
So, unless this person doesn't have the permission from the real owner, this thing will be "hidden" in this wayfrom DA.
I think it's a similar thing...Sorry for the bad english..

Well it looks like a Deviation in Storage, but I've never seen the Deviation pending request from... thing before. Odd. Do tell if you figure it out?

Some art is reported for using other user's stock even though the picture in question has permission, a month is used for review and the image can be either edited or artist comments changed and written permission can be aquired.
