sorry it looks like shit but anyway this is how i do it

the main reason im posting this is bc i wanna start posting more koikatsu rips and because of the nature of koikatsu item textures, i really dont want to have to make a thousand texture variants and i really dont want ppl to end up asking me to recolor anything so here ya go

paint.net plugins i use:

i made this specifically for like. mmd rips or whatever but (shrug)

the color transparency plugin is also useful for hair textures, since the gradients are mixed with a red and getting rid of it is easy top/bottom gradient editing

also note that im using the old version of paint tool sai here

i only use sai and paint.net so if u have tools or need plugins for other art programs i cant help you sorry
