The method looks good but I wouldn't recommand this tutorial for two "external" things :

- you don't specify your lightsource, how is one supposed to shade without knowing it ? it bugs me on the right of the dress...

- your lineart is messy, particularly in the hair

But I did mention this is a general idea of how I do my pixels, and I did mention I didn't explain things real well. I also mentioned it was a crappy tutorial myself. And you don't have to do what I do.
If you or other people want to use this, GREAT. If you don't that is GREAT too.

I am sorry if I had overreacted to your comment, however you seemed to not read the descriptions before commenting.

I had already indicated there that there should be a light source and that I am not very good with light sources. You’d understand the context of what I was trying to explain before actually critiquing. Furthermore, if you bothered to look at the person’s character, its hair design looks like the original character; the hair is messy on purpose. It is not a tutorial, rather my process of drawing, it is a general idea, I am not teaching another person how to pixel.

Thank you for trying to help but next time first read the artist’s description.

omg, I have give up create pixel art in SAI because I don't know how to erase anything without make it blurry. Now I want to try it again after I found this very helpful tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing!
