Sorry it took so long to get this up. long story made short, a bunch of not pleasant stuff happened and at one point I had lost the SIMcard holding all of my step-by-step photos.

Anyways, enjoy making your own Doctor Who monster. I would love to see links~

I can't wait to try this, but did I miss the part about the wings? It wasn't in the first part of the tutorial, but at the start of this one, it says it was already covered. I saw the final product and the embroidery is beautiful, but is there a third part of the tutorial?

Well you are completely right, the wings are not in either part of the tutorial. I'll give you a quick rundown for right now and then work on a separate tutorial.

I cut them out because I figured most people did not have the patience to embroider the wings. Basically in what I did, I cut out the wings for the gray fabric (4 total) and then I cut out a smaller set of wings from this stiff fabric. On the smaller set, I drew out the pattern and pinned each one to a gray piece, arranging it so that the sides with the drawing will be on the "inside" of the wing and grey sides will be on the outside. I then embroidered each wing, using the drawing fabric as a guide. I then pinned the wings (front & back of the left wing and front & back of the right wing) together and sewed them together like the arms. I then stuffed them and attached to the body.

I apologize for this oversight and I hope this explanation answers your question. If not, you can always sent me a note.
