[Edit 2 12-22] Golly. I'm writing this because of the negative response this has received on Reddit because of the title my husband gave to it. People were scoffing at the lack of addressing negative comments, and I haven't done that because... well, what do you say to people getting upset at the post title? As a frequent user of Imgur I totally understand the feeling when someone posts an emotional title to an image. It can be cringe-worthy and everyone tends to jump on the poster there as well for titling it in such a way. That being said, I had NO IDEA my husband would share my piece here, and I was over the moon that it even had 100 views, let alone that I would wake up and it had OVER 9000--

I frequently post my work to dA, Twitter, FB and sometimes Imgur with typically little response. And that's okay most of the time, because I get to make the art and I love making the art. But when I spent 6+ hours working on this to end the year, and shared it to Twitter and FB, it was quickly buried and... yeah! I felt a little sad! And I told him so. I had a feeling it would be because of the holiday and I've never had success posting things on a weekend.

I'm grateful my husband posted this because he didn't have to (nor did he tell me he did it until after well after the fact). It really has lifted my spirits. And I'm sorry so many people have been so angered by the title. Folks have been burned by clickbait titles and sob stories in the past and I 100% commiserate. But my husband meant no harm, and I love him for doing me this kindness for me unprompted.
