FINALLY. Wtf. Sorry for the wait. Work is making my art life difficult. THough I have drawn some pretty sweet sex lately....

....

SO. This is an example of two similar stories I'd made up a while back (one turned into an RP)... "Bittersweet Journey' on the left, and 'See You Soon' on the right. They both involve world-traveling groups of unlikely fellows from different reaches of the universe all seeking one mutual purpose or fighting a mutual enemy. Generally.

The idea for BJ popped up when I was like, 10, back when Setsuna was fresh in my mind and I was obsessed with elements. I still am to some degree. But the baseline is that Setsuna's (girl on far left) home planet of Iberia is attacked, and the count she likes is wounded, so she leaves on this world-traveling quest to find an alchemist and save him. Turns out she meets others who join her because they like wishes. The alchemist grants wishes. I need to get typing that up because it's a lot better now.

See You Soon starts with a group of people waking up in the center of Celes, a port town between the worlds, and having no idea wtf is going on. Only Zoe (Squirrel at the bottom right) knows what's going on, and explains that they have to go from world to world trying to seal off extra portals and gather stardust and find the cause of what's making the Evelon (planet-eating prokaryotes) act up so rapidly and devour the planets so fast. They also have to find the different controllers of different races. Or something.

The funny point in this picture is that Dreamcatcher (guy in the long gray robes) doesn't like his group. As you can see, the guys on the left are a bit more cheery than the ones on the right. I mean, come on. Jeans?

Setsuna is the group's instigator from the world of Iberia. Next t her is Dionysus, the Moony from Dei. Below him is Keitaro, Setsa's long-time friend (also from Iberia). Next to him in the back is Enwin, the alchemist of Magara. Below him is Lucas, the mild-mannered video-gamer from Earth. And then there's Niko'lai, vanity obsessed fairy from Linden. And of course, far right, is Dreamcatcher, the vampire from Moonfall who was their enemy for a long time.

See You Soon Group (left to right):
Kaddish is the group's leader from Kanrak. He has social issues and can open voids in the air to create portals. Sitting next to him is Genesis, the chronicler from heaven on Earth. Above him is Yureka, Kaddish's misled baby sister. Holding her is Woe, one of the many fallen, distorted angels from heaven affected by the virus. Below him is Nero, another 'angel' affected by the virus. Next to him on the ground is Cairo, the shy vixen from Roukan, and clinging to her is Zoe, the all-knowing squirrel-kin (also from Roukan). And finally, there's Akido, the eldest brother to Yureka and Kaddish. He lost his arm to the Evelon. Somehow.
