Of course if you got close enough to use the magic lightning gun it'd probably become a bouquet of flowers or something and you'd turn into the delivery girl, unless it works at extreme long range, which I don't believe many lightning projecting weapons do as they tend to have pretty significant spread.

And again, it's all about having a decent sniper nest to take that shot from, and I'm not convinced there's anything like that in the vicinity of her place.

I think constructing a sniper nest might just attract attention... and if you're bombing the place, congratulations, you've just killed off the people she inducted, she doesn't seem to be aggressively expanding, looking to conquer the world, yeah it's a little horrific if you think about it that she's brainwashing people into her service, but it seems like she just wants a household, not a nation.
