Yes, I know... banding... mb3d does that very often, especially with Ambient-'Relative to object' in combination with either fog or Ambient-depth Such a shame! It's really one of the drawbacks of its native raytracer. Monte Carlo does not do it as far as I have tested (have you tested there by any chance? If yes, what did you find?), but has other points I would like to see improved (especially the 1-point dof... ).
Still, a beautiful render, Petr, very welcome
