Okay, I went to this girls camp dealie with my church, not because I'm associated with the Young Women's group, but because I can play camp songs on the guitar. Anyway, so I brought my laptop with me, cuz I wasn't there to do the regular activities and junk, and I was mostly drawing Chrono Trigger stuff with my tablet during free time and a lot of the scheduled activities..... but anyway, the point is:

The power was out for a day, so when the battery on my laptop died, I was incredibly bored. Soooo..... I started doodling on this piece of scratch paper -- the boiled-down plots of the first season (or, in the UK, series) of the new Doctor Who. For me it was just something to kill time until the power went back on, but my brother, sister, and dad found it side-splitingly hilarious. (Mind you, I thought it was funny, too, but not quite as funny as they did.) You know, like those Inu-Yasha in three minutes dealies on the web. Just as a joke, you know?

This was unscripted, unedited, and I didn't have any reference pics to work with. We did, however, just get the first season on DVD like the week before, so the first 8 episodes I actually watched five days or so before. But other than that, it was all from memory. I drew it until I ran out of space, which happened to be at the beginning of episode 9/10 -- lucky for me, because it had been so long since I'd seen it, I didn't think I could simmer the plotline down enough.

It's interesting to note that every episode featured on this page ends with "BOOM" except for Father's Day (episode eight), which ends emotionally instead of violently, and Rose (episode one) because I didn't draw the Autons exploding. Also, forgive my handwriting!! ^_^U

The Doctor, TARDIS, the title of "Doctor Who" and all that jazz (c) BBC etc.
