I read the first 8 books again, and they're pretty good for kid's books. I wanted to try drawing something completely in MangaStudio, where the characters were already developed and just needed precise char designs. I wanted especially to show off their personalities just based on their clothes and pose. Note that everything (like the Andalite, red-tailed hawk) were done by memory.I'm thinking about making the first volume into an online graphic novel. 180ish pages, following pretty closely to the book, char desgins something like the above. It would be for fun, and to help me practice drawing precisely and consistantly, and it would also help me get more used to / faster at Manga Studio. (I may not have the time, but it's fun to plan out, anyway.)

Also, I saw something about you possibly starting a manga series online? I've got a site that's been thinking about doing just that and we could use a great artist like you!

hey that's cool! i like it, it's very well-drawn. cassie looks so cute. though i don't really like how rachel's portrayed... it's drawn well, it just looks a bit too popular-blonde-spoilt-rich-girl...

Everyone looks amazing, eve if I am a little freaked out by how attitude-ish Jake looks. Cassie looks adorable and whiel I always figured Marco had shorter hair (there was this joke in one of the books where everybody made fun of his new haircut), he looks pretty perfect.

this chibi form of Animorphs is superb...i havent seen anything like this^.^
you got all the character personalitites right except Marco's and Rachel's: Rachel's the pretty girl of the group but she's also the tom-boy as well..so like others have said before, Rachel's pose should have been something like Jake's. As for Marco...you gave him the "cool" pose when instead he was meant for the "goofball" pose, because he was the clown of the group.
You dont have to take what i said seriously because after all this is only my OPINION about the main group of Animorphs...well not so much opinion as almost basic fact.lol. keep up the GREAT work

I just read the Marco turns Bee book again! I found it in the back of my dad's closet. (my parents didn't approve of animorphs, some confusion regarding a picture of Ax) I read all 54 books some 11 years ago. Plz your version better than Applegate did! That ending was crap and I refused to accept it then and I still do.

I like this, which is a compliment because it's the first anime Animorphs pic I really liked. I think Cassie and Marco you nailed. Appearances on Jake and Rachel are okay, but the personalities to me seem a little off. Jake is too tough boy, the personality he was given actually seems more like Rachel's "let's do it" type of personality.

It's a cute picture. Ax looks buff, Rachel looks flirty, Jake looks pissed off, and Marco's just saying "peace, man" It's neat to see them drawn manga style.

This looks great! The characters are all very recognisable, which you don't see often in Animorphs fanart, especially among the guys. Although you made Rachel a bit... erm... curvy... for a 13-year-old... o_O
