This would in fact make the game even slower. Β Without being able to Special Summon, it would take quite a few turns to bust out Link Monsters because of the number of monsters needed to Special Summon them. Β Was that the goal when you made this card?

You still can normal summon monsters and link summon.
The idea was to force people into playing Link monsters
But you can easily get rid of this card with kaijus, darkhole...... etc

Can't use Kaijus to out this. Just look at Vanity's Fiend.

Nope, no kaijus, due to this card's effect: "Neither player can Special Summon monsters, except Link Monsters." So with Imperial Order and trap negation ready, the only outs would be killing it in battle with Utopia the Lightning/Archfiend Black Skull Dragon/Armades Keeper of Boundaries or with monster effects (ABC-Dragon Buster, Zoodiac Drident, etc.)

Why waste such powerful cards, when most decent level 4 or lower monsters can run it over in battle without any help from spell or trap cards, or even other monster effects

Those were just examples of monsters that can run this over without any interruption. (Archfiend B. Skull Dragon, Utopia the Lightning, and Armades all prevent the opponent from activating anything when they battle.) I know, you can just Normal Summon Megalosmasher-X in Phantasm Spiral or Elemental HERO Shadow Mist in HEROs to run this over then continue with your turn as normal.

You can't special summon those mentioned monsters due to this card's effect .

That was kinda my point my mentioning them. This will be hard to deal with. (Except against Monarchs and True Draco, they can still Tribute Summon.) Plus Phantasm Spiral decks can just Normal Summon anything other than Phantasm Spiral Dragon and run it over then continue as planned. HERO decks can normal summon Shadow Mist, run it over, then go on as usual. Etc. Etc.

I know that, but the general rule is one Normal Summon per turn, so without cards such as Double Summon, it would take a few turns to get out Link Monsters such as Firewall Dragon.
And yeah, I know that. Β Actually, nothing was ever said about attack targets getting a new mechanic or anything... Β ...Was there?
