Actually, I was aiming for a more terrified look, the scientist wasn't expecting his chemical concoction to to create a rip in the pan-dimension fabric of space and time, allowing all the horrifically tentacled beasts of the D'ark>Space™ universe to enter into our own. I think it wants to suck his brains from his skull!
