ADD is actually different than ADHD, but both still exist. ADHD is where you need to move frequently, and nowadays these people tend to move smaller body parts, like fidgeting with their hands, bouncing their legs, playing with small toys, but still have troubles paying attention and remembering information. ADD is pretty much the same thing except its easier to stay still.

Actually in Russia the term still exists. It's called "Π‘ΠΠΠ" and people are still being diagnosed for having that. So technically I do have (had... as a kid) ADHD, it's just written in Cyrillic in my medical history

Yeeeaaah I don't know where that myth came from, but schools don't willy nilly give kids medication. I know so many other people who went through a proper evaluation. I'v been in therapy since I was 3 years old due to my ADHD, they have tried everything, behavorial therapy, diet change, etc, and when they were not solutions to my issues, I was given medication despite my parent's hesitation and it seriously has helped me so much. So unless you know someone who has actually has ADHD, kindly shut up.

You saying that ADHD isn't real is rude. Why don't you meet kids and even adults who have it? They have many other issues other than being " hyperactive" and "inattentive". There are brain scans that show a difference between an ADHD brain and a normal brain. Also, are you even a doctor? It doesn't really matter because nothing will change your mind but I have no respect for ignorant people like you who spew their judgmental opinions on the Internet and I don't mind calling out and acting vulgar towards ignorant people like you. I don't care about your hurt feelings, comments like yours perpetuate the stigma that eventually ruins people's lives. When you say ADHD isn't real, you are invalidating the struggles of the the people who suffer from it. Does it get overdiagnosed? Certainly but that doesn't mean it isn't real.
