you seem to have a lot of fun inverting colors because you're doing it when you don't need to xD

I think that was the only way I can do invert colors if I'm doing outlines.
I trying to change the color with the eraser my drawing and it didn't work. So I went the long way in Part 1.

just make the gradient in a separate window, copy the image (the eye), then in the gradient's window have the eyelash's color (black in this case) as Color 2, paste the eye over the gradient & turn on the transparency & wala you'll get this >> sta.sh/0p4d6umhzol
also depending on the file type, swapping colors is finicky, it's REALLY annoying

Now I get it! I just tried it out and it work. Well, I had to switch the colors and change the eye from png to bmp but it worked! Thank you so much!
