Description

Icons for living bird groups that I used for the Tree of Birds , along with 12 bonus icons that are newly drawn.

The 12 new icons are:
1. Western barn owl (Tyto alba)
2. Southern ground hornbill (Bucorvus leadbeateri)

3. Coppersmith barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus)

4. Bearded barbet (Lybius dubius)

5. Versicolored barbet (Eubucco versicolor)

6. Toucan barbet (Semnornis ramphastinus)

7. Kākāpō (Strigops habroptila)

8. Sulphur-crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita)

9. Rainbow lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus)

10. Southern white-crowned shrike (Eurocephalus anguitimens)

11. Little yellow flycatcher (Erythrocercus holochlorus)

12. Streaked scrub warbler (Scotocerca inquieta)

As of the time of writing, I have included at least one icon here for every extant bird clade ranked at the level of "family" by the IOC World Bird List (and a few that aren't).
