Description
To be absolutely fair, I hear that Feduccia has actually contributed legit research in his own field (i.e.: ornithology that doesn't have to do with bird origins).Incidentally, I'd already had this idea before Feduccia's recent editorial was published.

Don't forget David Peters, throw his ideas in for good measure!

Just watch Holtz assign you a project in which you must give reasoning on why BANDits are laughable at science and requires you to read all of Fedducia's papers.
It's going to happen now, all because of this image. Just watch.
Hope it's otherwise, Alb.
Hope.
If not, it's R.I.P Albertonykus.

Ha, I would be tickled if that happened. Holtz has shared this on Facebook so he's certainly seen it, if that counts for anything.

This special Feduccia paper I'll never finish to read. Perhaps the next one... perhaps...

I hope there isn't a next one, but knowing that he's been doing this for two decades the alternative is more likely.

I had to read few of Feduccia's and Martin's papers on the origin of birds for my bachelor thesis just for the sake of citing all major views on the subject. As bad as the papers were in scientific point of view, they were still entertaining because of their ridiculousness. These papers are also a good example of what's bad paleontology, and why some people should not be allowed to write about stuff they don't even understand.
Nice comics.

Haha, I know the feeling. I forced myself through the entirety of Riddle of the Feathered Dragons so I could write a review for it.

You want to know what's really sad? I've VOLUNTARILY read the chapters of Feduccia's The Origin and Evolution of Birds specifically pertaining to bird origins. Needless to say, it was pretty painful.

...must suck to do that. What's next? Reading publications of David Peters?

Mind you, this isn't a real situation (at least for now), though it would indeed suck.

I don't quite remember anymore. It may have been Holtz using BANDits as examples of logical fallacies in our assigned homework that sparked the idea.
