A flashback sketch of my Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood oc Emeara. If you have read the storylines to the pics I've posted, you know Emeara once tried to perform human transmutation in order to bring someone back. I still cannot reveal who it is she tried to bring back yet, but I wanted to draw her younger, when she's at that person's funeral. Emeara is about 11-13 years old here. She's suppose to be standing in a cemetery somewhere in Xing. The bubbles with the text in them are being said by the other people at the funeral with her. They aren't her family but friends and/or others from the Xingese empire.

Emeara has been mother-less since birth and her clan had been in jeopardy of dying out completely (sort of like Mei Chang's family). When the person Emeara was close to died, she became the only living member of the Song clan left. Meaning that the person who died is related to her. But as I said, I'm not going to reveal that just yet. And in case anybody is confused and hasn't been following along with the story lines I've posted, the person Emeara lost IS NOT Shen Chou, her lover. He doesn't die until a few years later when Emeara tries to perform the transmutation. I think I'll reveal a few more minor facts about Emeara's clan now:

-The Song clan is in, no way, related to any royalty. They're basically considered commoners

-The family business had multiple shops set up in Xing, but they were just minor groceries or shops of no special profession

-Long before Emeara was even born, the Song family had begun dying out many years before

-The Song family has been on good grounds (so to speak) with the Chang, and other small clans for many years

-Fu, Lan Fan's grandfather and guard of Ling Yao, had been good friends with Emeara's mother, which means he has known Emeara since she was born. I'll reveal more on that later on

Personally, I adore how Emeara's hair turned out. It looks so pretty. Although I do think I messed up on her body. Her head is so giant compared to it

I hope people will be able to read the text in the bubbles on the drawing. I apologize my writing is horribly sloppy X.X;
