So i jumped ahead a little in Zira's Childhood, mostly because this doesn't really change anything and i'll catch up on her cubhood soon

As Zira grew up her mother convinced her to get close with the Princes, specifically, Scar. Bianka believed Scar was the smarter of the brothers and because he took after Ahadi he would be named King. Her plan was to use Zira as a pawn to make her queen and give Bianka power. So as Zira grew she was close with Scar, later in life she was never sure if she really felt for Scar or not. Was it her mother's influence? Or did she really love him?

When Scar was a cub he didn't like Zira, but he didn't like any lionesses, as they became teens his hormones kicked in and he and Zira got together. But because they were young teens, the relationship was all that, young love, they weren't mature enough to understand their feelings and broke up later in life.

I loved drawing in love Zira   It was hard to make her look like a teen though
