Since long ago i wanted to draw a portrait of Jesus, but not the same way all do, i wanted to show something different, in a way i see it. So, this is the way i see it
. I've seen loooots of drawings about Jesus, and to tell u the truth i wasn't quite happy or didnt like what i saw, 'cause almost all versions where just a way to make fun of him, a way to make fun of everything 'bout him or any religion who follows him...but u know what?...it's ok. Every one has different opinions and i respect that (hell! i even liked the JESUS VAMPIRE HUNTER MOVIE!! 
) but im tired of wicked-funny-creepy versions of him. Now, Im not a religious person, and when i say "religious" i mean i dont belong to any religious community, but im a strong believer (heck! my favourite book is the Bible! ) and i see Jesus the same way i see my heroes from comic books, from movies, from books...kind of weird uh?...but i remember something an old dude told me when i was a kid : "he will always be the way u feel it inside"...and maybe that old fool told me that just to get rid of me with all my questions...but, thet truth is, i believed him...and this is the way i feel him inside. And im honored to share it with all of u ^_^

Just like i said in my "artist comments", i've always watch funny portraits of him, and hey, its not that i satanize the artists, even some of those works made me laugh....but nop, i could never do something like that, specially for what i believe, he's some kind of a hero, and THAT was the way i wanted to portray him

Me gusta. La verdad que si se ve como un heroe, y es un concepto muy bonito. Yo soy gnostica, pero si me gusta creer que existe alguien que murio por nosotros y que fue capaz de mover a las personas a su causa.
Aunque algunos no crean que es el hijo de Dios, es indudable que fue un lider, hasta el punto que despues de su muerte, todavia lo siguen.

I'm not religious either, quite the opposite but this picture I think represents your views well and I liked what you had to say there.

indeed. Im not in a fight with any religion, in fact, since childhood i was always asking questions about it, and since i didnt had good answers, i decided to go and check them out for myself, intoducing myself to any religion group,and, despite any comments from people who knows me, i didnt do it 'cause i was undecided or anything, i just did it 'cause i wanted to know more about it and see and hear different points of view. In the end, i was sure of something: all of them are great and beautyful. But each one of them had lots of things i wasnt quite agree. Thats why i dont "belong" to any, but im a human being with lot of faith, and yes, i believe. I said: "if im going to believe or not, i want to be sure of wich side im going to take"...and of course, after loooong years of searching...i choose the side of faith ^_^.
