Hmmm, I wonder if there could be a way to transfer gears of war into a side scrolling game snes style. Maybe the gameplay could be similar to contra?

That would have been an INSTANT classic back then, along with "Super Halo," "Super Elder Scrolls," "Super Pikmin," the 16-bit list could go on forever!!!

If a 2D Gears of War was to be made someday by someone on internet, it needs to be Contra styled, would be the best thing to ever be done as an indie game

I could imagine little pixelized people with chainsaw machine guns killing freaky gray mutant things. It would probably be a side-scrolling kind of game. I would play it! bloodyness!!!
