Description
Gosh dang I haven't made a tutorial in OVER 3 YEEAARS so this was a butt to make but also pretty fun. A lot of people seemed pretty interested in how I colour/ shade so here we are! Nothing too complicated or special really but it overlays rather nicely.
Tried my best to describe the tools I use for people who have may never have use them or would like to use them. The clipping feature is a godsend for sure.
If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them for you if I didn't cover something!
Examples of this shading:
What are the settings on your Blur Tool brush?
These are the setting I use!
What are the settings on your lineart brush?
I use the same brush to line as I use to shade! It's an airbrush
It's the one under "shading" here ( tools )

THIS IS SUPER HELPFUL SHEK
It's really nice seeing how other people do it because I'm dumb and do it the long winded way of bucketing inside the lines with seperate colours etc.

Saving this! Thanks so much. I've been trying out various settings for a good blur effect but haven't been satisfied yet.

When blurring precisely I actually find the water tool gives a rly nice blur/painterly effect as well! c:
The blur tool is generally a little mediocre for trying to shade nicely if I'm honest and I have no idea how people use it
But these are p much all of the tools I use when drawing !
Airbrush for lines + shading
Blur for basic shadows/lightning
Water for refined painting/blurring the cell shade u v u
Hope this was useful! c:
