This is an old homework assignment from my Kubie days. We had to create a book cover in full color and 3 interior monochromatic images (might post those later). I love the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books (who doesn't?) so that's what I did.Funny story with this pic is that it wasn't until we were all done and giving the class critiques that I noticed that I had totally forgotten to give Smaug wings! No one else seemed to notice so I kept my mouth shut.
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are (c) J.R.R. Tolkien. This was produced by myself free hand with no outside references.

Thank you! Yes I took more after the books and the original animated movie in the style for this. I love the movies, but this is how I will always picture Bilbo.

This actually looks like a 51 year old Hobbit.
I think Sam was the only one who looked like a Hobbit in the movie series.
