Whoever named this bird, sure had the right idea, just looking at that beak! Nice lighting.

Yeah...in Romanian, the name is quite similar, making reference at its beak. Thank you so much!

I love the shot but I would ofΒ cropped it a bit more cut out some of the water cause the bird is so crisp and clean and the reflection too.

Thank you so much!
Well, if you'd know me better, you'd know that I always think a lot about a photo's composition. In case of this one, the composition is quite good.Β
Now let met tell you the reasons why I didn't cropped the shot:
-I wanted to capture the whole reflection of the bird;
-if I would had cropped the shot, I had to keep the reflection, that meant that the subject wouldn't had any space in front of it(that's a pretty important composition rule);
I can continue like this all day. Β
But the main reason that I didn't cropped the bird was to keep its whole reflection, and also to respect the rule of thirds.

Well, I explained to you because I never do things randomly. Especially when it comes to photography.

Thank you so much! The Eurasian spoonbill was fishing when I captured him. It has quite an interesting technique to do that.
