Like a few other people here I just see myths. What myth I do not know but it feels stong and I really like all the details on the wings and that touch of firey red.

I personally find the expression on the wolfs face to be relaxed, Maybe sad even. Like he is letting go of all the pain (the ravens) and letting out all the tears the red.
All in all an amazing piece

On another note, this looks amazing, but you already knew that. Question, what's the prison, the feathers or the flame? Is it some sort of metaphor for the inability of us humans to escape our primal instincts and? Is it saying we're slaves to these desires? You did name it Imprisoned, after all... I can't help but feel a sense of calming from this. It seems as though the ravens are being pulled back into him. It's as if, after a day of chaos and being torn in a thousand directions, he finally has a moment to look inward, relax and pull himself back together. A truly gorgeous work of art.
