haha yea, i know the feeling... i bought my 360 right after they lowered the price from 400 to 350, but i still payed 400 cause i wanted the special halo 3 edition ^.^... but that only had 20gb of memory on the hard drive (and it was still prone to the overheating issue of that gen of the consoles) which is nothing, now the new 360 slims are only 300 for the 250gb harddrive wich is pretty decent, and id have to say fairly affordable.. but youre right the 360 is pretty much a pc.. i can only assume itll be more so when the next gen comes out...but hey, its a market economy, they make them cause people (like me) will buy them (the only one i dont have is the ps3 but i do have a ps2) i may hold off on getting any other sony product cause the new one should be out sometime in the next year and a half and i dont want to pay for a console twice... but yea, the whole console specific games, halo is a 360 title, however the 1st 2 titles were later released on pc, and were very popular aswell on there, but not more so than the console.. its hard to say, pc gaming will always be there and it doesnt make sense why companies dont use the processing power and graphics cards to their advantage to make beautiful looking games such as crysis 2, it is really a great playing and even better looking game

oh no I've seen what they do to people, a cliff is not space and a tractor is not a gazelle nor can it fly

this is all a matter of perception...and the right cocktail
another option would be a neural interface like they had in matrix.

Wow just when I thought Oblivion couldn't get any more insane Just goes to show you don't have to be a genius to hack a generator.
You really got Wildman's reactions down perfectly to Oblivion's craziness & made him look awesome while doing it

alecyl In reply to MadMonkeyDane [2011-07-22 22:33:20 +0000 UTC]
i think it's impossible to hack an advanced a.i. the classical way XD
either you choose the sledgehammer method and destroy the hardware or you convince it to swap sides
heck, i'm not the first one who had that idea, in fallout 3 there's this a.i. that leads the enemy forces and if your speech skills are high enough you can talk it into self destruction
thanks, glad you like it

MadMonkeyDane In reply to alecyl [2011-07-22 22:49:39 +0000 UTC]
You're welcome
I'm pretty sure if Wildman was left to his own devices he would've tried to hack it then just smashed it if that didn't work Oblivion's way provides less collateral damage though lol

MadMonkeyDane In reply to alecyl [2011-07-22 23:10:41 +0000 UTC]
I have a feeling it's either gunna be a mass free-for-all fight against Psi-Void or a group fighting Psi-Void while another finds escape pods or something and the 3rd destroys the ship itself.
Guess we'll find out in just over a week

MadMonkeyDane In reply to alecyl [2011-07-22 23:18:02 +0000 UTC]
That's true. Timing is especially important for DU since each challenge is only a month long. A late start would mean less time for people to take part although sometimes the month seems to go by too quickly anyway

alecyl In reply to MadMonkeyDane [2011-07-22 23:20:46 +0000 UTC]
yeah, like this one XD
but as the month draws near to its end, there will be a crapload of pages for chapter 2 from the people who didnt finish yet XD
