and the next one from my side of 's secret wars
things look good for plague, the gas in the ventilation system clouded vigil's mind, which made this whole thing alot easier for her. now that she's got the information she wanted, she will pay axiom a visit in hopes that he's got some superpowered villains for her.
what comes next? more lies, more deals, more scheming, yet another fashion style and then the really cool stuff kicks off! so stay tuned

I really like that visual aspect of Vigil's telepathy you captured here. Usually we can only tell when she's using it from the expressions on her and the others face. XD

btw, i was thinking about this again...and actually this cannot be right with you only having 256mb ram but 1,8ghz, this configuration just makes no sense.
so i believe that maybe one of your ram modules within the pc could be damaged.
i don't know how long you own you pc now, but maybe you still got guarantee on it.

by the time 1.8ghz pcs were sold, you got at least twice the ram of what you got now, but 1gb was usual even back then
if the pc is older than 3 years, the guarantee is out, but if not, you should use it.

Awesome page. Your style is so realistic, yet you're so incredibly quick at it. You've probably said this somewhere before, but what program do you use? Mouse or pen&tablet? Anyway, feel free to use Ubus for your villains line up...or, more accurately, Xario disguised as Ubus (hey, they look pretty much alike, Xario's a bit skinnier and has black hair, but that's nothing hair dye and thick armor can't fix

Cool! I just got a Wacom Intuos4 for my birthday. I'm still not used to it, though. I got Photoshop Essentials7 with it...but I'm not quite used to it either.
Hmmm...that was a bit complicated. Here's a simpler version. Xario shows up and says something to the extent of "Ubus couldn't make it because he's busy" or something like that. Ubus was suspicious when Axiom mentioned that there was some sort of alien virus wandering around and he hadn't detected it on his omni-computer, so he sent Xario as a sort of test subject. Then, if Xario returned with no ill effects, Ubus would replicate the inoculation on himself using the leftovers in Xario's body. Xario shares the same powers and abilities with Ubus to a lesser degree (power beam, power shield, flight, etc.) except for Chaos energy. Only Ubus is capable of producing Chaos energy. Hope that clears things up.

get at least photoshop cs1, the intuos4 is wasted with essentials
and you'll get used to it fast, just practice alot and you will have better results very soon

hmm but i think the chaos energy would be the only thing that really lies in plagues interest, since he either has, will get soon, or can emulate the other abilities with his own
on the other hand, the touch could make him aware of ubus, preparing the stage for a meeting XD
you may have already noticed by now that plague likes it alot to cut deals with lots of people...axiom was just the start

Hmmm...I'll look into that. Yeah, PhotoShop Essentials is less than I hoped for. Sure, it has all the basics (i used to tinker with PS at high school until I graduated 
As for the situation at hand, I like the way you think. I'm sure that having the abilities of a Champion of Dark Chaos would be very attractive to Plague. When he touches Xario he could get a hint of Ubus's Chaos abilities through Xario's genetic link with Ubus. I would love to do a meeting with Plague. He seems like a fun character that I would love to work with.

the problem with gimp is, that it is lacking the features of the newer photoshop versions and some of those are very cool and make working easier and faster.
yeah, thats what alot of people tell me lately
anyway, i will use xario in my next pages then.
you want me to paint him how he actually looks or do you really want him to be dressed like ubus?
remember, plague doesn't know of ubus existence at all, yet, so there's no reason for disguising XD

Ugh, I know what you mean. It's characteristic of villains, though. Each one out for him/herself. Fortunately, Ubus is in a joint project, so the total number of diabolical plans should be lessened a little...as if that helps much.

XD the one thing i learned from comics is, that if villains work together, betrayal is preprogrammed
anyway, it will get interesting if several villains try to rule or destroy the world or whatever they have planned XD i bet most of them will try to kill one another at the end because they are cancelling out each others plans
