Cosplays should be rated on their accuracy. The lack of an appropriate wand lowers it's accuracy.guys! Need your help
I want to cosplay Bellatrix this summer
can you give me some advice to improve my character...

If you are going for a glamorous model take on her then you are doing a good job, but if you are going for movie accuracy, she is more skull-like in the face with sharper cheekbones (well, they aren't exactly sharp, more like sucked in around the mouth)

I think that darker eye shadow would give your eyes that hollow, sunken look. Try it for the hollows of your cheeks too so your face looks a little sharper. I'd also recommend pulling a really evil smile - try to look a bit like your bridging on insanity. Otherwise, you've done great so far.

As for suggestions: Mess up the hair bit more; it's good as is but could be better.
Define the cheek bones, and darken the under eye; again, It can work, but I always thought the Black's had very define features.

as far as suggestions go, I'd recommend messing up the wig a little more. The hair in the movie is very messy and almost matted. The color looks great though! And if you're going strictly based on the movie, her necklace is a black choker type with a bird skull pendant on it. But if you're taking your own spin, than the necklace you've already got works perfectly!

As feedback, I'd just recommend paying more attention to the hair. In the movies, she has a bit of a side ponytail (not all of her hair, though) to give it height.

I don't know if you're going to strictly movie accuracy or book accuracy.....but I'm a fan of Bella in the books only, so the advice I'd give for makeup is that she's far more hallowed and sunken and ghostly in appearance from being in Azkaban. Like Sirius, she manages to maintain some remnants of her good looks, but she's still spent all that time in Azkaban. Unless you are cosplaying her from before she went to Azkaban. The movies went for the dark glamour however, (along with the cackling silliness, none of which is in the book), so it just depends on what version of Bella you are going for. If you want the movies, I think you look good here!

You've done an amazing job with this cosplay!
Although if you want accuracy, I think I have a few tips for you.
The hair needs to be a bit more voluminous, curled and frizzy; the eyes should be darkened a bit more (give it a slight sunken in effect and she also has bags under the eyes); shade in along the hollow part of the cheek bones (she's a rather gaunt character really) and if you want, you can also shade some parts of her neck as well.
It's all small details really,but it could really impact your cosplay dramatically and make it even more spot on!
As for poses, you have your shoulders loose and your head up but think of her as a more ecstatic character with an imperial flair about her. Tense up the shoulders slightly and pull back your shoulder blades, the way you have your face and head are perfect though.

I think this is beautiful! I thought it was her! I say, in the movie her hair is focused to one side, so I say the only improvement would be, crimp the hair maybe by doing small braids when its wet and taking it out after it dries (Makes crimps) or use a crimper or do tight curls and then tease it wildly. After, pull some of it to one side, not all, just enough for the effect.
Again, absolutely stunning! I love the makeup and outfit! Perfect!

what about, forget the rose and the make up, she is a badass witch not a lolita
the hairs are cool but I think if it block or bother the any sight, it's not cool because she has to be alert and can't let her hair get in the path of her survival and/or freedom..
for the necklace unless it represent an actual and canon necklace the char have, you can forget too..
stay simple, as long as you re the same gender, you have same hair color and a some dressing that can relate to the char's, it's enough and often more accurate in a more artistical and personal interpretation of the char

The rose doesn't fit in there. Lestrange is completely coconuts, everything needs to be more messy.

Beautifully done! You certainly have the overall look down. Obviously though, you do not look like Helena Bonham Carter. You are too pretty to be the nasty Bellatrix. Whom you DO look like (please don't kill me for this) is an evil Hermione. Your facial structure fits Emma Watson more then Helena and for some strange reason I always wondered what Hermione would look like if she had gone evil. I think this would certainly approximate her look if Hermione embraced the dark arts.
As Insane Kitty Blood pointed out below, Bellatrix was just a deranged nasty mess and her outfits were very grungy and looks like she hadn't bathed in months (I could only imagine what she smelled like). Here you look very neat, poised and pretty (Bellatrix isn't pretty at all in my book). So as I said, your look would fit more Hermoine gone evil. And that is good...for evil 
As for suggestions for a more accurate look, Insane-Kitty-Blood summed it up below so I need not repeat here. Still I think you did a fantastic job on the costume.

That it is, but an interesting concept nonetheless. As I said, given the current state of your costume, you look more poised, orderly, and well kept and your face is closer to Hermione's...so naturally I said, you know, you look more like an evil Hermione. I know 'tis not your goal, but you certainly look BETTER than Bellatrix.

Maybe your lips could be a li'l bit more sulky. But I think you do very well!

The right wand would help, as well, Bellatrix Lestrange has a little more wild hair with one side being frazzled and partially covering part of her face. Bellatrix is also quite grungy and not appearing well kept, so immaculate make-up and no dirt isn't right when trying to portray this character. Try darker tones and applying make-up to make it appear as if you're dirty and grungy. ^.^
Other tips I would suggest is trying to capture the dark, deranged nature of Bellatrix.

Great job! I love it, you really have captured a lot of her essence. I see several comments with suggestions, so I won't repeat. My suggestion is to make sure you have the right wand! It looks like the one that you're holding is the Elder Stick, Dumbledore's wand. Unless, of course, that's part of the cosplay - having Bellatrix steal his wand. But in my memory, that never happened!

I think I would go for the first wand. The crookedness of it really serves to reflect Bellatrix's madness.

I wish this is how she looked in the movie! You know you almost look like Hermione, just a little bit, but you've nailed Bellatrix, at least how I see her. And I love the expression!
