A portrait for y'all.
This is a new version of [link] ; the Jennifer Connelly I did way back in 2003. I had this sudden run of favs on it, which was a bit weird, because it's so very old, and positively makes me cringe. So I thought I'd redo it, and see how much I'd improved.
This one is full of mistakes. I don't really want to know about them, though, if it's all the same to you. I think I can see them all, anyway. Even so, it's a huge improvement on the last one, don't you think?
Done in very short spaces of time over several months (probably about 4). I've been busy.
Size: A4
Time Taken: Somewhere in the range of 10-15 hours.
Materials:Quill sketching paper, 0.5 mechanical pencil with #B lead, #8B solid graphite pencil, tissues, blending stumps, cotton buds, and plastic, kneadable and electric erasers.
Postwork: In Photoshop CS - slight gaussian blur to fix the harsh scanning, levels adjustment, watermarking and framing.

Lol, yeah, I have been drawing for a while but I never really took it seriously. But after I learned HOW to draw I learned to like it a lot more. Your drawing was really cool though, I love the Labrinth.

Really? It's the big boofy dress from Labrynth. I'm not particularly fond of the movie, but it comes from the masquerade scene. Lots of bubbles and singing.
