I had racked my brain trying to decide what to give Zack for a rifle. Since he is the firearms expert and marksman, it just made sense he needed an accurate, long-range rifle. However, I had trouble making my mind up, due to two reasons. First, I was trying to, though not limiting myself to, Canadian guns. The second reason is what gave me the most trouble; I design things like they are balanced for a multiplayer game. Thus, a sniper rifle that can rapid fire just won't work. Furthermore, I was aiming for them having only one gun at a time. However, I finally came up with a compromise. The Ross is a Canadian made design that was unreliable in rough conditions but became popular with snipers. The Cooey line is also Canadian. With Zack's custom frames, they make a great pair. Normally, they are connected together, meaning both are ready at the same time. When he attaches the scopes, the 64 will fold up for easy carrying alongside a larger rifle. The Ross acts as the main sniper rifle, while the Cooey acts as a faster mini rifle for closer range. The Ross offers the power, range and accuracy, while the 64 makes up for its slow fire rate without being overpowered itself.
